Former Nigeria international Samson Siasia insists the Super Eagles can still secure a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, DAILY POST reports.

The Super Eagles have endured a difficult qualifying campaign, managing just one win from six matches.

Eric Chelle’s men sit fourth in Group C, six points adrift of leaders South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

With four games remaining in the qualifiers, Siasia remains confident they can turn things around.

“Everything is still possible, but it’s how to get it done,” Siasia said.

“Both the players and the coach have to now bring their ‘A’ game to these matches and it should be a game at a time.”

The qualifiers resume next week, with the Super Eagles hosting Rwanda’s Amavubi at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

They will then travel to Bloemfontein to face South Africa on Tuesday, September 9.
