This weekend, all eyes will be on the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City lock horns with Manchester United in what promises to be another thrilling Premier League derby.

Pep Guardiola’s men currently sit 13th on the table after three games, while United, under Ruben Amorim, hold 9th place heading into Sunday’s showdown.

On the latest episode of The Overlap podcast, two former Premier League legends, Roy Keane and Ian Wright, shared their takes on how the derby might unfold.

Keane, never one to sugarcoat his views, predicted a tightly contested affair, calling it a 1-1 draw. Wright, however, showed confidence in the Red Devils, backing Manchester United to snatch a win at the Etihad.

City approach this high-profile fixture off the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Brighton, while United gained momentum with a 3-2 victory over Burnley in their last outing.

The big question remains: Will Keane’s cautious prediction hold true, or will Wright’s bold call for a United victory become reality? Fans won’t have to wait long to find out.
