BBNaija S10 recently saw the exit of housemate Ifeyinwa Okafor, popularly known as Ivatar, who has now shared insights about her journey in the house, addressing misconceptions, viral rumors, and personal relationships.
In a candid chat with Sunday Scoop, Ivatar revealed that many fans judged her based on her appearance, particularly her tattoos, expecting her to be dramatic and controversial.
“People assumed I would bring more drama because of my tattoos and overall look, but that’s not me. I’m naturally calm and intentional. The stereotype about tattooed people doesn’t define me,” she explained.
Ivatar, who is also a proud mother to an 18-year-old, emphasized that she balances fun with responsibility:
“I have a fun, crazy side, but only those I’m comfortable with will ever see that. At the end of the day, I can’t live recklessly just to entertain people.”
The ex-housemate also set the record straight regarding speculation about a supposed romantic relationship with fellow housemate Kaybobo. A viral photo suggesting they kissed circulated online, but Ivatar dismissed it as fake.
“I was shocked when I saw that picture. It never happened. Kaybobo and I are just friends. We vibe because we share similar interests, but there’s nothing romantic going on,” she clarified.
Reflecting on her time in the house, Ivatar also touched on her strained friendship with Mensan, once her closest ally.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have drawn him close just because I felt he was lonely like I was. We had good moments, but I believe in setting boundaries, and I’ll always stick to that,” she admitted.
Despite the challenges and perceptions, Ivatar maintains that her journey in the BBNaija house was authentic, shaped by her true personality rather than public expectations.
