Utah, USA — Erika Kirk, the grieving widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has spoken publicly following her husband’s tragic assassination, calling his killer an “evil-doer” and vowing to carry on the movement he dedicated his life to.
Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on Wednesday during an outdoor program in Utah, sparking nationwide shockwaves across the conservative political landscape.
According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the shooter has been identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who was later apprehended after an intense manhunt.
In a live emotional broadcast, Erika Kirk remembered her late husband as “the perfect father and husband”. Fighting back tears, she emphasized that his vision will not end with his death.
“The evil-doers responsible for my husband’s assassination have no idea what they have done. The movement my husband built will not die. It won’t. I refuse to let that happen,” Erika declared.
The case also drew attention from former U.S. President Donald Trump, who confirmed during an interview with Fox News that the suspect was arrested after being turned in by someone close to him.
“Somebody very close to him turned him in,” Trump stated.
The shocking loss of Charlie Kirk has left many in mourning, but his wife has made it clear: his fight and legacy will live on through her continued efforts.
