In a candid post-eviction interview, BBNaija Season 10 housemate Victory addressed the buzz surrounding his shift in affection between fellow contestants Gigi Jasmine and Joanna.
Victory, who alongside Gigi was evicted last weekend, admitted that while his initial interest in Gigi Jasmine was sincere, his feelings evolved over time. He emphasized that this shift didn’t stem from losing interest, but rather from forming a deeper connection with Joanna.
“I entered the house and met many people. Although I made advances toward Gigi in week one, I paused during the show to reflect on my choices. It wasn’t that I stopped liking her — I simply began liking someone else: Joanna,” he revealed.
The turning point, Victory explained, occurred when he invited Joanna as his guest during his stint as Head of House. Their rapport flourished from that moment, gradually deepening into mutual liking.
Expanding on his outlook, Victory reflected:
“At the end of the day, my philosophy is that you can like a thousand people, depending on what you value in them.”
