If you’ve been following the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) lately, you can’t miss the meteoric rise of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC). The Oluyole Warriors are currently on a blistering five-game unbeaten streak, and the football world is taking notice.

But what’s the secret behind this impressive form? A magical new tactic? A star-studded lineup?

According to the man steering the ship, Technical Adviser Nurudeen Aweroro, the answer is refreshingly simple: pure, unadulterated hard work.

Solidifying the Streak with a Commanding Victory

The team’s formidable form was on full display this past Sunday at the Lekan Salami Stadium. In a Matchday 10 encounter, 3SC delivered a decisive 2-0 victory over Abia Warriors. This win wasn’t just another three points; it was a statement.

The result solidifies their position as serious title contenders, propelling them to second place on the NPFL log with a solid 15 points from just nine matches.

Aweroro’s Candid Take: Overcoming a Late Start

In a post-match chat with 3SCfantv, the young tactician was quick to dismiss any notion of a “secret formula.” He attributed the team’s success to the relentless effort put in by the entire squad.

“There is nothing so special about our current impressive form; it’s just a result of hard work,“ Aweroro stated plainly.

He also provided crucial context for the team’s slower start to the season, revealing a significant hurdle they had to overcome. “We were appointed a month to the start of the new season. We didn’t have enough time for preparation,” he explained.

This late appointment, compounded by the loss of one of the coaching staff, could have derailed their campaign before it even began. However, Aweroro highlighted the team’s resilience.

“We didn’t let that deter us,” he affirmed. “So we put in hard work, which we are benefitting from now.”

    The JamFlash Takeaway

In a world of complex football analytics and high-tech training regimes, Shooting Stars’ story is a powerful reminder of the fundamentals. Aweroro and his squad are proving that consistency, dedication, and a strong work ethic can overcome a lack of preparation time and build a winning mentality.

The Oluyole Warriors are not just winning; they are earning every point through grit and determination. With the team now hitting its stride, the rest of the NPFL has been put on high alert.
