Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has given his prediction for one of the most anticipated fixtures of the Premier League season — Arsenal vs Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday evening.

Both sides come into the clash in strong form. Arsenal secured a solid victory over Nottingham Forest in their last league outing, while Manchester City continued their dominance with a win against arch-rivals Manchester United.

Sharing his thoughts with Paddy Power, Campbell expressed confidence that the Gunners will rise to the occasion against the defending champions.

“I have got a feeling it’s going to be a 2-1 Arsenal win,” Campbell said. “They’ve got the bit between the teeth. Hopefully, they’ve learned from Liverpool and found that balance between solid defending and taking risks in attack.”

Campbell further stressed the importance of trust in Arsenal’s defence, noting that football requires a fine balance between risk and reward.

With Arsenal pushing hard to challenge for the Premier League title, fans will be eager to see if Campbell’s prediction comes true in what promises to be a thrilling showdown at the Emirates.
