It’s been a busy transfer deadline day for Nigerian football stars, with two high-profile moves grabbing the headlines.

According to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Fulham have completed the signing of Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan on an initial loan deal. The agreement includes a buy option clause, though it’s not mandatory. If activated, the full package could be worth around €25–26 million.

The 25-year-old winger has already undergone his medical and is now at Fulham’s training ground, ready to begin a new chapter in the Premier League. This move could provide Chukwueze with more playing time and an opportunity to showcase his attacking flair in English football.

Meanwhile, in Germany, Victor Boniface has made a surprise switch from Bayer Leverkusen to Werder Bremen. The Nigerian striker will spend the season on loan, with his wages set to be shared by both clubs. Despite recently signing a contract with Leverkusen until 2026, the Bundesliga side sanctioned the move to give him more game time.

Boniface has also completed his medical and will be looking to make an immediate impact for Bremen as they strengthen their attacking options.

For Nigerian football fans, these moves mark exciting opportunities to watch their Super Eagles stars shine in new environments across Europe.
